    Wedding Makeup Haul

I am ALMOST there with my wedding makeup materials!! I can't wait to practice my bridal makeup with these tomorrow!!

Today's haul completes my long search for the perfect eyeshadow. For a long time I thought I wanted peach eyes, but after playing with Taaz.com, I realised pinks and browns make me look softer. Thanks for your help in giving me feedback on my peach vs. pink dilemma, haha..

    Guerlain Ombre Éclat Eyeshadow
#407 Bal de Nuit (Limited Edition)

This is my favourite because all shades are easy to use,
and all are shimmery (no matte like some palettes)

All shades in this pic look accurate except the pink is more of a dusty rose pink.
However when you swatch it, it's shimmery pink like the shot suggests.
I'm short of time so I'll link to Temptalia's swatches
The pattern in the mirror annoys me actually.. means you only use 75% of the mirror!!

One thing other swatchers haven't shared is the pamphlet that comes with this.
It shows you how to create 3 different levels of subtlety with the 4 shades.

    Shu Uemura

Face Architect Remodelling Cream Foundation #764

I am going to sell shade #364 now that I have found #764
764 is yellow toned whereas 364 is slightly paler with pink tones.
If any of you are interested in buying, please take a look at the FOTD & let me know~
    I only used it once!

    Shu Uemura
    Base Control (Silver)

I wasn't entirely happy with Shu Uemura Glow On Blush (P Peach 42)
as a highlighter for bridal makeup, as it was matte & I wanted more GLOW!!
The SA recommended applying this around the eyes & cheekbones, and top half of the nose ridge before foundation. I can't wait to show you~

I had a long chat with the Japanese SA who was such a darrrling~

She was very adamant about recommending products she believes suits the customer & has been known to refuse to grant a customer's wish to apply a shade 2 shades lighter & wrong tone.
I'm sooo sad that I only just found her today & she's leaving Melbourne soon..
So when she recommended this highlighter to me, I knew I HAD to get this to replace P Peach 42. Sorry PP42.. you won't be going in my bridal makeup bag..

    Top - Blended
Bottom - Straight from the pump

The last remaining items for bridal makeup...
    - Possibly an eyebrow shadow kit (to create softer effect with multiple shades, as seen on jungsaemmool's videos)
    - Still looking for the right pink lipstick... my last resort will be to use Estee Lauder (Cherry Blossom) with a fuchsia gloss to jazz it up.

Now this really is a lovely haul!

Have you tried Givenchy blushes....they glow so much more than the Shu ones. I love Shu but that is an office blush for me.

pssssssst - doing the gold tag next week

I'm SUPER SAD now~~~~ she's the best, I recommended her to most of my friends and they all love her too hahhahhahha

You're gonna do your own makeup? That's so cool. I wouldn't trust myself with something like that haha because I don't have your skills.
