Before I show you the FOTD's.. I just wanted to show you how well Shu Uemura's cream foundation covers my acne scars!! I applied 3 layers of foundation with both brush and sponge. No photoshop...
I used all 4 shades of the Guerlain #407 Bal de Nuit palette to create a smoky look.
The pinks & browns blended to become a mauve! Totally unexpected.

I did a cheek gradation, using a rose blush first on the outer cheekbones,
then a light pink on the inner cheeks
then a light pink on the inner cheeks
My Verdict
I also used a mauve lipstick, but I'm not sure if it's mauve overload?
I'm thinking of finding a dusty rose lip colour to go with this look.

This photo makes it look washed out, but in actual fact the lips and cheeks are really rosy, haha..
I guess I will have to look borderline clown to avoid looking plain on the day.

I'm really loving the eyes you did a great job there... In terms of the lip colour, becoz your eyes are quite subtle and neutral (in a very romantic way of course) I think rosy pink lipstick will do much better than the mauve. So yea... you reckon you could be a lil more bolder on the lips since the eye colour isn't too strong? Hope to see what it'll look like with rosier lips maybe :) DAMN your face is so flawless~~~ JEALOUS!!! hahaahahah

Ummm... I just did a haul on imomoko.com~~~ OH DEAR~~~ but I really wanted those falsies you got there coz it looks so good. Not to mention I bought a similar pair from Shu Uemura (but heaps more expensive). So happy these pa ones are way cheaper hehehehe... can't wait to receive them, how long does it take for the stuff to come? 2 weeks?
The foundation is perfect!! Yep, you might want to change the lipstick to give your lips more focus.

You look really natural and pretty with this makeup on!! Maybe you can load up on the blush? For some reason, my camera washes out the blush colour on my cheeks, I think you are experiencing the same problem?
